Real Madrid and Spain star Isco could leave Real Madrid in January and Arsenal is his most likely destination, that’s according to a report by The Sun Football.
The report states that that Arsenal are joint favourites with Juventus to sign the skillful, diminutive playmaker.
The 26 year-old, who was a regular under sacked Real Madrid coach Julien Lopetegui, playing 14 times and scoring twice, was dropped from the squad entirely for Madrid Champions League clash against Roma and according to current Real boss, Solari, injury wasn’t behind his decision.
The Sun quoted Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis as summing up Isco’s situation thus:
“Arsenal and Juventus are both at 10/1 to secure his services in the January transfer window, while AC Milan and Napoli are both at 14/1.
“While he could last out the season at Madrid, those odds could shorten considerably for the summer transfer if he continues to be overlooked at Real.”
