Lagos billionaire Femi Otedola has fulfilled his pledge of covering the medical bills of ailing veteran actor Victor Olaotan, that is according to fellow star actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), who was also the one to initially share the news of Otedola’s pledge.
Olaotan was involved in a terrible motor accident on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway which almost took his life over two years ago.
An elated RMD broke the good news in an Instagram post while expressing gratitude to Otedola for donating $100,000 (N35m).
“Valentine has come and gone for many but for me I am still overwhelmed by the best valentine gift yet, a text from a man who has in a short space of time become friend and brother @femiotedola confirming that he has released just a little less than $100,000 (USD) for the commencement of the treatment of my brother and friend Victor Olaotan.
I just wanted to share this here not to flatter Femi but to reiterate that you are what you do not what you say you will do.
“Thank you my brother @femiotedola for proving that you are a man of your words. God bless you.”
This is a welcome development for Olaotan following initial news that his legs might be amputated if urgent attention wasn’t given to improve his health condition.
